Tuesday Book Chat | Which Christian romance has the best first date scene?

Which Christian romance has the best first date scene?

It’s Iola here. Welcome to our Australasian Christian Writers Tuesday Book Chat, where we encourage book lovers to answer our bookish question of the week.

Today’s question is:

Which Christian romance has the best first date scene?

This is a tough question, partly because a lot of the romances I read don’t have a “first date” scene to speak of. Instead, it’s two characters getting to know each other through friendship or events, not through dating (which is more like what I see in real life).

We look forward to hearing your thoughts. Please join in the conversation in a comment on this post or in a comment on the blog post shared in our Australasian Christian Writers Facebook Group. Or, if you’re feeling wordy (like me), write a blog post and link to it in the comments.

Let’s chat!

  1. I have no idea, I have read so many books that I can’t remember if dates are first or not. I know one had the couple go one a bike ride but it may not have been first date. I don’t tend to remember details as much.

    1. I know what you mean – a lot of Christian romances have couples who meet and get to know each other in informal settings. It’s hard to think of many where they actually go on a date.

      1. Hi Iola, I think this is the toughest question we’ve asked all year! Like Jenny, I’ve read too many books and the details do become blurry. 🙂
