Welcome to the Australasian Christian Writers Tuesday Book Chat. This is where we encourage book lovers to answer our bookish question of the week.
Today’s question is:
Do you know any Christian books that feature cats?
We look forward to hearing your thoughts. Please join in the conversation by commenting on this post or on the blog post shared in our Australasian Christian Writers Facebook Group.
Let’s chat!
Yes and if a book has a cat on it I will check it out. As you can see I am a cat lover. Cheryl Wyatt wrote a series for Love Inspired set in Eagle Point. The first book we meet Psych and even after all these years I still remember Psych. He was special and had a way of popping up at different times. Often typical cat behaviour but some was unique to him. He makes an appearance in a few of the books.
Their have been others but this one really sticks in my mind. I would love to see a book set in a cat rescue business. It would be fun to read about a couple meeting over a rescue cat.
Your turn.

After dogs last week, I figured cats would be this week!!
‘The Christmas Cat’ by Melody Carlson
‘What the Cat Dragged In’, ‘The Cats Pajamas’ and ‘When the Cat’s Away’ by Gilbert Morris (Jacques and Cleo: Cat Detectives series)
The Gilbert Morris series is a good one! All told from the cats’ perspective.
Oh I am not sure I have those books by Gilbert Morris. I will have to check it out. Oh I have The Christmas Cat.
I hoped it would be cats. Iola does the images then I do the question. I love cats.
Hi Jenny, My apologies for not commenting sooner. From sharing your post on Twitter, I’ve discovered that Robin Lee Hatcher’s latest release, How Sweet it is, has an orange cat named Pumpkin – a cute name! 😊
Oh cool that sounds so cute. Will check it out.
