Listen up, peeps! Don’t die with the music in you. Whatever is in the deep crevasses of your imagination, don’t ever think nobody is interested in the “music” in you. You need to tell yourself that you have just as much writing ability as the next person. Sure, the other writer plays a different tune, but as Christian writers, we are all dancing to the same beat, right?
Once you tap into the rhythm of God’s heartbeat, a thousand different ideas will come. God has put creativity into each and every one of us, and it’s our job to grasp the opportunities that arise, bringing the sweet melody of music out into the stratosphere.
You need to stop beating yourself up all the time; telling yourself that you’re “not that creative” and believe that you have the music in you. The enemy fans the flames of your negative thinking until you actually believe his lies.
One of my favourite Bible verses is Isaiah 43:19. “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”
Perceive means to discern or recognise; to become conscious of something. Sure, writing can feel like you’re in the wilderness and wasteland at times. But God wants to do a new thing in and through you, my friend. This writing business is not for the faint of heart. You really have to be passionate about it. You have to let the music in you be so loud that it just has to come out in one form or another.
God promises that He will make a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. In other words, a path to follow and a drink for the journey.
People need to hear the sound, they need to feel the rhythm that is your words. They need to sing along to the melody of your writing.
So, don’t die with the music in you.
You’ve totally got this, my friend!

Thanks for the encouragement today! Love that verse about new things. God is good!
More than we can ever imagine, my friend. W xxx
The song is pounding in my brain, now I just have to put fingers to the keyboard of my computer (not piano, that would just create a cacophony of unbearable noise!)
So to the writing room I go to plan, write, review, read., change the plan , rewrite and write some more, and do the story goes on.
This is so very inspirational , I needed to hear this today! Thank you so very much! Have a Great rest of the week. God Bless you.
My pleasure, Alicia. 😊
Now go and make some “music!”
