Writers Life | Training Day

Brisbane Training Day for Writers.

The Brisbane Training Day for Writers is fast approaching on Saturday 12 October.

The Omega Writers biennial Conference in Sydney just a few short weeks ago reminded me what a joy it is to meet together as writers – inspiring, encouraging and learning from each other.  What a fabulous weekend it was.

Here is another opportunity – the Brisbane Training Day for Writers.

After a wonderful and inspiring time the CASQ Showcase at the beginning of July this year – with the thought-provoking theme of Presence rather than Platform, plus a raft of inspiring panels and presentations – CASQ will be hosting a hands-on workshop on Saturday 12 October at the Cooper Colonial Motel in Acacia Ridge Brisbane.

CASQ is an acronym of Christian Authors Showcase Queensland. It is a cooperative venture between the Brisbane Omega Writers Chapter group and two other local writing groups – Gracewriters and the Holy Scribblers – that came out of the Showcase last year.

At the CASQ training day, the focus is on creating the medium or format of the story – audio files, e-books and graphic design. And at the end of day, we have the opportunity to gather together for a meal.

Date: 12 October 2024

This should be a fun day
