Welcome to Tuesday Book Chat.
This is where we encourage book lovers to answer our bookish question of the week. As we are a faith-based group the questions refer mainly to Christian fiction or non-fiction.
Today’s question is:
What trivia have you learned from a book that has stayed with you?
We look forward to hearing your thoughts. Please join in the conversation by commenting on this post or on the blog post shared in our Australasian Christian Writers Facebook Group. Remember to comment today on Tuesday Book Chat to enter the giveaway.
Let’s chat!
Years ago I read a book by Gilbert Morris, part of the House of Winslow series set in WWI. The characters were in the air force and engaging in battles with The Red Barron. One of the historical figured mentioned was Roland Garros the French flying ace who invented the first forward facing machine gun that didn’t shoot the propeller off. Roland Garros the home of the French open is named after him. I have waited years for a question about him and last year the Chase has that question. Not sure the exact question but I answered. It’s one piece of trivia I will never forget.
Your turn.
I look forward to reading your comments here or at the FB group.
