Tuesday Book Chat | 14 January 2025

Welcome to Tuesday Book Chat.

This is where we encourage book lovers to answer our bookish question of the week. As we are a faith-based group the questions refer mainly to Christian fiction or non-fiction.

Today’s question is:

What books are you looking forward to reading this year?

We look forward to hearing your thoughts. Please join in the conversation by commenting on this post or on the blog post shared in our Australasian Christian Writers Facebook Group. Remember to comment today on Tuesday Book Chat to enter the giveaway.

Let’s chat!

I am excited for Robin Jones Gunn’s next book in the Suitcase Sisters series. Penny Zeller has a few coming out I want to read. There will be many more and there will be some that are not even written yet. Oh I can’t forget Jenny Glazebrook’s next Trinity Lakes book.

Your turn.

I look forward to reading your comments here or at the FB group.

Comment on today’s post to enter the Tuesday Book Chat quarterly e-gift card giveaway sponsored by Narelle Atkins. Two winners per quarter, $10 US or $15 Aussie e-gift cards.

The winners can choose between an Amazon.com or Kobo USD $10 gift card, or an AUD $15 gift card from Amazon AustraliaiBooksKobo, or Koorong.com.au.

  1. I’m looking forward to both of Irene Hannon’s books this year – the continuation of her Hope Harbor romance series and the next of her suspense books. I’m also interested to see which of her past books she will be releasing as encore editions.
I’m also looking forward to the next books by Amy Lynn Green and Jennifer Mistmorgan (as long as I can get physical copies. So disappointed by ones that are only available as eBooks).

  2. I’m looking forward to Erica Vetsch’s and Kasey Stockton’s next releases. Maybe others but I forget just now!

    1. Sound interesting. I forget some of the others myself and some I don’t even know that will be coming out.

  3. I am late to the party with these books, but I am finally going to read both of Michelle Obama’s books. I was given some gift cards so I can afford them now.

  4. There are so many books I want to read. Your mention of Trinity Lakes reminded me I want to start reading theses books! I own them and I want to read more books I own this year, and the Trinity Lake books are at the top of the list.
I also love fantasy so hoping to read more Christian Fantasy this year. After reading Calor last year I can’t wait to read Lumen and Memoria by J.J.Fischer.

    1. I understand about reading what you own. I have great intentions when I buy to read and then years later its still there.

  5. I’m looking forward to reading The Atlas of Untold Stories by Sara Brunsvold and The Curious Inheritance of Blakley House by Joanna Politano. I have both of them on pre-
    order! 😀

    1. Hi Elizabeth I will have to check these out. Always good to add more to my TBR list.

    1. Hi Ameilia, I like them too. I read one just recently that was really good.
