Tuesday Book Chat | 21 January 2025

Welcome to Tuesday Book Chat.

This is where we encourage book lovers to answer our bookish question of the week. As we are a faith-based group the questions refer mainly to Christian fiction or non-fiction.

Today’s question is:

Do you have a favourite reading spot, and does it change with the seasons?

We look forward to hearing your thoughts. Please join in the conversation by commenting on this post or on the blog post shared in our Australasian Christian Writers Facebook Group. Remember to comment today on Tuesday Book Chat to enter the giveaway.

Let’s chat!

Growing up I use to it was on my bed in summer. Then for awhile at my last place it was on the front porch in summer and near the fire in winter. Now I probably don’t have a favourite spot. I do most of my reading in my the loungeroom on my lounge chair.

Your turn.

I look forward to reading your comments here or at the FB group.

Comment on today’s post to enter the Tuesday Book Chat quarterly e-gift card giveaway sponsored by Narelle Atkins. Two winners per quarter, $10 US or $15 Aussie e-gift cards.

  1. I read in bed mostly, or at the table while eating, but the bed is my favourite spot.
I like it best on cool rainy days when you can snuggle a bit.

    1. Sounds good. I use to read a lot more in bed but now I need glasses it makes it harder.

  2. I like to sit out in the backyard and read in the sun as long as it is not too cold or not too hot. I don’t get to do that as much as I like though. I mostly read curled up on the lounge.

    1. sound good I use to do that on the front porch or back area at the old place this one I don’t that option.

  3. Reading seems normal to me, as during my primary school days, mobile phones and laptops were not yet around in my country. I like reading at anytime I’m free from any practical homework or when I’m sleepless at night.

  4. I don’t really have a favorite reading spot where I live now. I read wherever I am in the house. Although the quietest place to read in the house is my room.
