Tuesday Book Chat | 24 June 2025

Welcome to Tuesday Book Chat.

This is where we encourage book lovers to answer our bookish question of the week. As we are a faith-based group the questions refer mainly to Christian fiction or non-fiction.

Today’s question is:

Do you have a favourite Non-Fiction Christian Author?

We look forward to hearing your thoughts. Please join in the conversation by commenting on this post or on the blog post shared in our Australasian Christian Writers Facebook Group. Remember to comment today on Tuesday Book Chat to enter the giveaway.

Let’s chat!

I can’t say I do. Mainly because besides devotionals I read fiction. I did enjoy reading the story of John Newton “Once Blind” by Kay Marshall Strom. Also both Robin Jones Gunn and Julie Lessman had devotional type books I enjoyed. I look forward to your responses.

Your turn.

I look forward to reading your comments here or at the FB group.

Comment on today’s post to enter the Tuesday Book Chat quarterly e-gift card giveaway sponsored by Narelle Atkins. Two winners per quarter, $10 US or $15 Aussie e-gift cards.

  1. The non-fiction Christian authors who I’m currently reading books from are Warren Wiersbe, A. W. Tozer and Charles Spurgeon. All men who are now with the Lord, but what they wrote is still relevant and truth from God’s word.

    1. Warren Wiersbe was one on mums favourite’s I bought several of the BE books over the years for presents (she had a lot) We donated them to the church Library. thanks for commenting, (She also like the Matthew Henry commentary)

  2. I am new to the genre so I don’t know a lot of authors, I do like Robin Patchin and Jan Thompson. I have read several of their books.
