Tuesday Book Chat | 30 July 2024

Welcome to Tuesday Book Chat.

This is where we encourage book lovers to answer our bookish question of the week.

Today’s question is:

What’s your favourite childhood read?

We look forward to hearing your thoughts. Please join in the conversation by commenting on this post or on the blog post shared in our Australasian Christian Writers Facebook Group.

Let’s chat!

My first favourite book was a book of fairy tales which included. The Flying Trunk, The Ugly Duckling and my favourite The Snow Queen. Then it would have been Enid Blyton’s The Magic Faraway tree series and other books by her.

If we are talking Christian Children’s books It was probably The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis and the whole series.

Your turn.

I look forward to reading your comments here or at the FB group.

  1. Hi Jenny, yes! The Magic Faraway Tree series and Famous Five, Secret Seven etc. by Enid Blyton were some of my favourites. The Narnia series runs a very close second and I reread the Narnia books many times over. My love for rereading stems from my childhood reading habits, lol. 🙂
