Welcome to Tuesday Book Chat.
This is where we encourage book lovers to answer our bookish question of the week. As we are a faith-based group the questions refer mainly to Christian fiction or non-fiction.
Today’s question is:
Do you read multi author box sets in order?
We look forward to hearing your thoughts. Please join in the conversation by commenting on this post or on the blog post shared in our Australasian Christian Writers Facebook Group. Remember to comment today on Tuesday Book Chat to enter the giveaway.

Yes. I have one of those minds where I have to read from front to end. Rare would I read out of order. The only times I can think of would be when I bought the boxset for just one book. It can be a problem cos if the boxset starts with a weak book or a couple of weak books, I may end up not finishing it. It’s one reason I normally don’t buy the boxsets with 12 or more books
Your turn.
I look forward to reading your comments here or at the FB group.

I have bought a lot sets and depending on the authors and genre I do. It’s just easier to just read straight through book to book. But occasionally a set may have a few authors that I really like so I might read theirs first esp if the book is within a series I’m already reading.
Thanks for commenting I agree with you. thanks for commenting
Hi Jenny, My answer is no, unless they’re specifically advertised as a closely linked series that should be read in order. And even then, I might still read out of order, lol. 😊
I was waiting for your answer. I thought you may say that after seeingyour comments during storychat episodes.
I did read Mistletoe Season (3 x Christmas novellas) in order, but I figured that didn’t count and you’re talking about the longer 6 plus box sets. For the longer series, I learned to leave notes in my Kindle app on the novellas I’d read. It’s tricky navigating the larger sets if I’m not reading in order.
Oh thats another reason I read in order I read on the kindle. so much easier to go from front to end.
