Welcome to Tuesday Book Chat.
This is where we encourage book lovers to answer our bookish question of the week. As we are a faith-based group the questions refer mainly to Christian fiction or non-fiction.
Today’s question is:
Have you set a reading challenge for this year?
We look forward to hearing your thoughts. Please join in the conversation by commenting on this post or on the blog post shared in our Australasian Christian Writers Facebook Group. Remember to comment today on Tuesday Book Chat to enter the giveaway.
Let’s chat!
I have decided to go for 48 at this stage which works out to 4 books a month. last year I did reach 55 but I also had times where I had weeks of not reading. If I can average about 4 a month I will be happy.
Your turn.
I look forward to reading your comments here or at the FB group.

I’ve set myself 150 books again for this year.
It might seem like a lot of books but I read 159 last year, and have read over 150 for several years.
For you its a good goal. I use to read between 2 – 3 books a week but now I aim for one.
I don’t set goals. I just enjoy reading books when I can as much as I can. I don’t need or want a record though.
Thats fair enough. I know when I put a goal to high I get discouraged.
I use Goodreads to keep track of my reading goals. I set it at the same as 2025, 175 and go from there. I read 201 for 2025.
Wow you are an avid reader. I like Goodreads more as a place to see what I did read.
Hi Jenny, For the first time I’ve officially joined the Goodreads challenge. My goal is fifty books which should be achievable. 😊
