Do you know any Christian books that feature dogs?

Let’s chat!
The simple answer is yes. I can’t think of titles of hand but I have read a few books that use a dog as a therapy dog. I also remember Love Inspired Suspense had a series featuring K-9 Unit dogs. There were 6 books in the series.
Your turn.

The Christmas Dog by Melody Carlson
Deadly Encounter by DiAnn Mills
Those are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head. Not being a fan of dogs, I tend to avoid dog books as much as possible.
I remember the Christmas Dog. I also am not a fan of dogs. (I have a fear of them) I love seeing a cat in a book.
Yes, Colleen Coble’s ‘Rock Harbour’ series features Samson the search and rescue dog. He’s also popped up in cameos in other books of hers.
I also just finished Laurie’s Wood’s ‘Northern Deception’ and it had a team of sled dogs.
Oh I read a couple HP books that featured the Iditarod and they have sleigh dogs too.
Hi Jenny, My apologies for not commenting sooner. From sharing your post on Twitter, I’ve discovered that Suzy Parish has a book titled Flowers from Afghanistan that includes a pup named Phoenix – who was rescued in Afghanistan. Phoenix is a symbol for the transformation of the life of Mac, the male protagonist. 😊
That sounds interesting thanks for sharing
