Good question. I know of books with other animals that have a big part of the story. I am sure I have read books where a dog features. Love Inspire have had some suspense books with the K9 unit. Another author has written books with support dogs. Look forward to your responses.

Your turn.

  1. I saw one at Koorong over Christmas! The Dog Who Was There.
I used to read a few Christian Children’s books that featured dogs, but childhood was a long time ago. 🙂 not sure I remember. Janette Oke wrote one though.

  2. Colleen Coble’s Rock Harbour series featured a search-and-rescue dog called Samson. He and his owner Bree also make cameo appearances in some of her other books. I enjoyed that series.

  3. Conversations with Saint Bernard by Jim Kraus featured a St. Bernard. I really enjoyed it. It’s an older book (2015), but I’d probably read it again. Mr. Kraus also wrote The Dog Who Talked to God, but I haven’t read that book.
