I’m not sure at this stage. I have recommended a few devotional books which I have found helpful but not sure of what authors to recommend.

Your turn.

  1. Christine Dillon has some great books that really challenge Christian perspectives about healing, faith, etc. Francine Rivers has some powerful thought provoking stories that deal with forgiveness, judgment.

  2. I recommend Timothy Keller for someone who is wanting to explore face issues. He is not a fiction writer but he’s an excellent person who discusses faith issues. He has podcasts as well as books.

  3. Hi Jenny, Great question! For non-fiction I recommend John Dickson’s books, especially his books that examine the historical accuracy of the Bible. For fiction, Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers, especially if the reader likes historical romance. Red Ink by Kathi Macias is a powerful story set in China. The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis (all C.S. Lewis books are great reads). For fiction readers who prefer not to read romance, I recommend Christine Dillon’s Grace series because they’re contemporary stories set in Australia that address major faith issues. Also, I recommend Biblical fiction authors (there are too many to mention them all). A Stray Drop of Blood by Roseanna M. White is a fictional retelling of the Easter story.

    1. thanks for the suggestions. I am sure it will be a help to others.
