This is another tricky question. There was a Christmas novella was set in Wales but can’t remember much about it. I recall reading at least one book set around the mines but forget the title. I look forward to your answers.

  1. The only one I can think of off-hand is “How Green Was My Valley”, but that’s only because I remember the movie.

    1. You are doing better than me. I have seen movies featuring Wales had friends from Wales but I don’t remember any book

  2. ‘Yuletide in Ireland and Wales’ by Ginny Aiken and Tamela Hancock Murray. It was only my Ireland list last week!
    Rainbow Garden by Patricia St John – that was a favourite of mine as a child.

    1. I was thinking I had read a christmas one but wasn’t sure I know there was also one set in Scotland around New year cos I remember a tradition they had there.

    1. I was thinking one of these books was set somewhere in the UK but wasn’t quite sure where.
