For Fiction Friday I am reviewing Dumpsters and Dragons by Page M Davis & Susan Page Davis a Christian Mystery story.

My Review:
I have been waiting for this book since I read book one last year. This time the action starts from the beginning. Cassie is at her final stop for the day to pick up a dumpster from a new estate that is being built. She finds a package tossed in saying Top Secret and picks it up as its blocking the dumpster form closing. This is the beginning of the mystery.
At the stop a biker had been pulled over by the police. Did he through the package in the dumpster? When she looks inside it looks like some sort of computer code. Thinking it may be part of an RPG (Role Playing Games) she tries to learn more. Meanwhile her boyfriend Adam is against these games. His stepbrother is struggling in college and could lose a scholarship due to the playing.
I won’t say any more about what happens as you need to read but there is mystery and light suspense throughout the book. Seems Cassie has a knack of finding trouble. I did enjoy the gaming side of the book as I have heard of these games. However, I have never played and don’t know much about them. I feel I understand the concepts much better now.
I was kept guessing right to the end but was happy with the ending. Also seeing the relationship continue to grow between Cassie and Adam is interesting to watch. I also like how it’s a slow romance over a series. The only downside is waiting another year for the next instalment.
If you like mysteries give this book a go. While you can read it as a standalone, I would encourage you to read Down in the Dumpster first.
