Pip and Pat Pickle are back at Goodworth Estate. This time, they are the official gardeners. YAY!

When Mrs Goodworth asks them to get the garden ready for Basil’s birthday party, Pip grabs her notebook and Pat grabs almost everything else.

With one week to finish a list of very confusing tasks, the Pickle siblings do their best to help. But “fix the mud cakes” becomes real mud cakes, “make everything fresh” turns into toothpaste on the pot plants, and somehow the broccoli starts bouncing.

Pip tries to make everything perfect while Pat wants everything fun. As the garden fills with green decorations, the Pickles start to wonder… Will Basil’s birthday party be a blooming success, or the biggest oopsie yet?

Song of the Khan by J. J. Fischer

Publisher: WhiteCrown Publishing (Released: 8 September 2026)

What if saving your kingdom cost your true love’s soul?

Former gravedigger Rigan North is used to being surrounded by death and loss, but her husband’s capture by an enemy king brings her and the rebellion she’s inspired to breaking point. Corcoran’s only hope for surviving King Radek’s dungeons is his treacherous magice mother. But Lady Jhoselyn and Radek both want Rigan dead—if the Shro Khan don’t claim her soul first.

Now king regent, Soren fights to hold his failing kingdom together and protect those he cares about from the monsters who unexpectedly reversed his curse. But the price to save Jardia and banish his curse permanently is the life of the woman he loves, and even if she’s willing to make that exchange, Soren most certainly isn’t.

As the Twin Kingdoms descend into deeper darkness, Rigan, Isel, Corcoran, and Soren grapple with new revelations that they may not be the ones to save their home from destruction. Their only hope is the echoes of an ancient Song, the sole antidote to the Shro Khan’s siren call…but to learn its notes will require conquering the weakness at the very heart of their souls.

Following the clues to the close-knit community of Crayfish Cove, Hester discovers the envelope was meant to contain an invitation to an exclusive soiree. The host? A semi-famous stage actress Hester has never met. Before she can uncover the reason behind the bizarre invitation, the actress is discovered dead on the beach.

Suddenly, Hester is thrust into a real-life whodunit. To complicate matters, the handsome local police officer has an unfortunate effect on her ability to think clearly. Love Songs, Romcoms & Alternative Endings by Jacquelane Cox

(Released: 25 July 2026)

He wasn’t the hero in her story, but he is the rewrite she needs.Mara is a certified hopeless romantic with a perfectly plotted ‘happily-ever-after’ … until her real-life leading man executes a brutal plot twist and exits, stage left. Retreating to her childhood home to nurse a crumpled heart, she expects refuge – not Ben, the annoyingly helpful neighbour who’s won everybody over, including the family dog.

Ben is no stranger to a series of unfortunate events, yet he’s stubbornly kept his optimism – and faith – intact. With the family recently coming into money, Mara’s internal alarm bells are screaming. Convinced Ben is a con artist playing the long game, she vows to expose him. But across the dinner table every weekend, his sincerity starts to wear down her defences.

As the walls around her heart crumble, Mara faces a choice: trust her cynical instincts or risk a leap of faith. Can Ben convince this sceptical romantic that God works all things together for good – even the broken pieces of her own plan – and that she is finally ready for her own Alternative Ending?

Sprinkled with faith, hope and humour, this sweet romance will have you listening to the old love songs and rewatching your favourite romcoms.
