Tuesday Book Chat | 14 April 2026

Welcome to Tuesday Book Chat.

This is where we encourage book lovers to answer our bookish question of the week. As we are a faith-based group the questions refer mainly to Christian fiction or non-fiction.

Today’s question is:

Which book character would you most like as a travel companion?

We look forward to hearing your thoughts. Please join in the conversation by commenting on this post or on the blog post shared in our Australasian Christian Writers Facebook Group. Remember to comment today on Tuesday Book Chat to enter the giveaway.

Let’s chat!

Ok another tricky questions. My mind goes straight to one of the Sisterchicks. I would choose Laurie and Hope in Sisterchicks do the Hula. This book made me fall in love with Hawaii and I would love to go adventuring with them. Actually, any of the Sisterchick books or even the Traveling suitcase sisters.

Your turn.

I look forward to reading your comments here or at the FB group.

Comment on today’s post to enter the Tuesday Book Chat quarterly e-gift card giveaway sponsored by Narelle Atkins. Two winners per quarter, $10 US or $15 Aussie e-gift cards.

The winners can choose between an Amazon.com or Kobo USD $10 gift card, or an AUD $15 gift card from Amazon AustraliaiBooksKobo.

  1. I agree with you, Jenny, about one of the Sisterchicks characters. Jenna and Sue from Sisterchicks in Gondolas would be my pick.

    1. Yes they would be fun too. I actually wouldn’t mind the ones who visited New Zealand either. I know it was the Sisterchicks do the Hula that had me falling in love with Hawaii.

  2. Does it count if I say Doctor Who, they’ve written books now. My father always watched but my favorites are David Tennant and Matt Smith. I’ve s always wanted to go on an adventure with the Doctor!

    1. Wow I hadn’t thought of him but what an amazing trip you would have.
