Tuesday Book Chat | 19 March 2024

Welcome to Tuesday Book Chat. This is where we encourage book lovers to answer our bookish question of the week.

Today’s question is:

What’s you favourite Book in the Bible?

We look forward to hearing your thoughts. Please join in the conversation by commenting on this post or on the blog post shared in our Australasian Christian Writers Facebook Group.

Let’s chat!

I would have to say Ruth. I have always like her story which is found in the book of Ruth.

Your turn.

I look forward to reading your comments here or at the FB group.

  1. I love reading the Psalms. There is always something to encourage and remind you that God hasn’t forgotten you even through the dark times.

    1. thanks for commenting. I do have a couple of favourite psalms but struggle with them at time partly cos I don’t like poetry. but Psalm 121 is my favourite.

  2. I’m read Esther right now. I’d forgotten how much I love reading it.

    1. Barbor had a devotion on Easter although I don’t think it downloaded right but it didn’t display right (I think it was Secrets of Esther). I did read the Secrets of Ruth and there was one on Hannah.

  3. Hi Jenny, This is a hard question and I didn’t answer yesterday because I couldn’t make a decision, lol. Like Dienece, I also chose Esther. I love reading Esther’s inspiring and courageous story and seeing God working in her life to bring about His good purposes and overcoming evil. 😊

    1. It is hard. We had a series of sermons on Nehemiah last year and it was really interesting. I actually think its actually easier to say what stories do you like best.
