Welcome to Tuesday Book Chat.
This is where we encourage book lovers to answer our bookish question of the week. As we are a faith-based group the questions refer mainly to Christian fiction or non-fiction.
Today’s question is:
Do you read multiple books at once or stick to one at a time?
We look forward to hearing your thoughts. Please join in the conversation by commenting on this post or on the blog post shared in our Australasian Christian Writers Facebook Group. Remember to comment today on Tuesday Book Chat to enter the giveaway.
Let’s chat!
For me one at a time. I do however read a devotional book in the mornings but when it comes to fiction it’s one book at a time.
Your turn.
I look forward to reading your comments here or at the FB group.

I only read one fiction book at a time, but will have multiple non-fiction on the go, most of which are devotional books.
That makes sense. Thinking on it there are times I have been reading several non fiction. like when I was studying there were books for the different subjects. I can also read picture books when reading adult fiction
I can only read one book at a time. I would get them mixed up if I was reading more than one at a time. Way too complicated with migraines.
I fully understand the migraines and how it affects someone. and I am the same the only exception is a devotional or non fiction that is read at a totally different time.
Multiple!!!!🤣 Although I usually have one I’m favouring over the others. But I always seem to have one eBook and one paperback no matter what.
wow you do well.
Hi Jenny, good question. I rarely read more than one book at a time. The only exception is simultaneously reading a fiction and a nonfiction book. If I put a fiction book aside (to temporarily DNF it) I usually have to go back and reread from the start to remember the story. Sometimes I’ll plod through a nonfiction book over a period of time, depending on why I’m reading it.
I am similar
I sometimes read different books at one time because I have different devices that I read on and I want to read something else like at might versus during the day.
That makes sense.
