Tuesday Book Chat | 7 November 2023

Welcome to Tuesday Book Chat.

This is where we encourage book lovers to answer our bookish question of the week.

Today’s question is:

How much is too much to pay for an ebook?

We look forward to hearing your thoughts. Please join in the conversation by commenting on this post or on the blog post shared in our Australasian Christian Writers Facebook Group.

Let’s chat!

Tough question it does depend on the author and book. Being Aussie books are a little more expensive. Add cost of living I will pay up to around $6 but these are book I really want. Normally I want under $5. I read a couple of series this year that had a per-order special so bought the books. But at full price I probably won’t buy anymore in the series.

Your turn.

I look forward to reading your comments here or at the FB group.

  1. I don’t read e-books, so I’m not sure how much I would be prepared to pay.
In the past I got a few free ones, but they just sit on my computer unread.

    1. I paid $6.20 today because it was Susan Page Davis (I know its under $5 USD. I agree under $5 is better. I am not in KU yet. When I had credit at Amazon USA $5 was my limit but much preferred $3 or under. It also depends on the size. I won’t pay $5 for a novella under 100 pages. its also a reason I am not reading as many LI books because of the conversation costs.
