The second book in the Lord Danvers Investigates Victorian mystery series
Lady Antonia discovers a body at the opening of the Great Exhibition, in the presence of Queen Victoria, no less. The newly married Lord and Lady Danvers put all such unpleasantness behind them, though, as they sail off in his aerostat for a secluded honeymoon in Scotland. Until the shades of grave robbers a generation earlier come back to haunt them.
As I grew up in Scotland, not far from Edinburgh this story brought back many memories. Aside from that I really enjoyed the story line and the somewhat “quaint” language used from time to time. Another great Donna Fletcher Crow story!

I have read 2 of the Lord Danvers Mysteries. I liked both. This time his honeymoon in Scotland is interrupted. The author describes the country and and people well. I plan to read other Lord Danvers mysteries.
