Muskoka Hearts

Muskoka Hearts

How can he persuade her to consider to give him a chance, when she’s sworn the only man she can care about is her baby boy?

Toni Wakefield may be a talented artist, but past choices means this single mother never feels the equal of those around her—especially her brother’s best friend, investment funds manager Matt. Matt long ago fell in love with his best friend’s younger sister, and try as he might, he just can’t fall out of it. And between his crazy working hours and the fact she's now settled two hours away in beautiful Muskoka it seems they never have any time together. How can he persuade her to consider to give him a chance, when she’s sworn the only man she can care about is her baby boy?

About the Book

The scenery described at Lake Muskoka sounded like a little slice of Heaven. I loved every word of this book and devoured it page by page. Carolyn Miller knows how to write a good, clean romance with an inspirational message as well. There were lessons to be learned from this book for all of us to learn how to treat others. Well done Carolyn!

The author tactfully touched on a few heavy topics, such as having a child out of wedlock, affairs, and domestic violence. The romance was clean and sweet, with the appropriate biblical principles in place. The ending was suspenseful and breathtaking to the point where I couldn’t stop reading until I was finished. I highly recommend this book and the rest of the series and am looking forward to the next installment!
