No. I use Goodreads to keep record of what I am reading and will put reviews. I do however look at the 1 star reviews to see what they say. Often they are just a rating so I dismiss them. I know its easy to just but a star rating but without a reason why it tell me nothing. Same with a 5 star review with no review could mean anything.

Hi Jenny, I’m also a no. I post my book recommendations at Goodreads but don’t pay attention to anything else there until after I’ve posted my written review.

I did a lot more before I started buying eBooks. If it has an overall rating of 3, then I really begin to question the quality of the book. But otherwise I read lower stars to see if there is anything I wouldn’t want to read.
I think before I was mainly getting ebooks Goodreads wasn’t around. And back then It was more if I liked the look of the book.
I use Goodreads to track what books I’ve read and my yearly reading goals. I also occasionally post reviews when I can get my thoughts together.
Thats how I use it also.
