Tuesday Book Chat | Who is your favourite Christian thriller author?

Welcome to the Australasian Christian Writers Tuesday Book Chat, where we encourage book lovers to answer our bookish question of the week.

Today’s question is:

Who is your favourite Christian thriller author?

We look forward to hearing your thoughts. Please join in the conversation in a comment on this post or in a comment on the blog post shared in our Australasian Christian Writers Facebook Group.

Let’s chat!

When I first read this question, I thought hmm… when was the last time I read a thriller? I’m more likely to read romantic suspense than a thriller. I’m also never good at answering ‘favourite author’ questions. Plus, I need to be reading multiple books in the thriller genre to have a favourite author.

I’ll wait for you all to comment and recommend your favourite thriller authors and books. A few years ago I enjoyed reading Creston Mapes and Davis Bunn. What I really need is more reading time (and less migraines) to help me tackle my crazy-long TBR list.

What do you think? If you read thrillers, who is your favourite Christian thriller author?

  1. I cant answer this question cos I really don’t read thrillers, or heavy suspense or horror.
I have read a few but can’t really recall the authors.
I don’t mind light suspense or cozy mystery. But like you I find it hard to single out authors.

  2. Not sure if they strictly fall into the thriller category, probably more suspense, but my favourites are Randy Singer, Robert Whitlow and Terri Blackstock.

  3. Great question, Narelle. Joel C. Rosenberg is marvellous, Tosca Lee (do read her latest duology) and Craig Parshall’s Trevor Black series are excellent. And my friend, Mike Dellosso, who has now put down his pen, has some excellent thrillers.
